His spirit companion, a loyal white wolf named Alabaster, becomes both protector and guide.

 

But Centuria is threatened by an ancient sea god, Cimmerian, who feeds on shattered spirit bonds, twisting children and their animals into monstrous soldiers for his dark army.

 

With new friends and their spirit animals by his side, Christopher must stop Cimmerian before their world—and the bonds that give them strength—are lost forever.

 

Along the way, Christopher learns that true bravery is not the absence of fear, but the choice to fight for love and friendship even when the odds seem impossible.
